Bonita M. "Bonnie" Jervis Wilson Widner, 99, of Delphi, passed away Friday-April 3, 2026, at 3:18pm, at Carroll Manor Home, near Delphi, where she had resided since 2018. Bonnie was born on February 21, 1927, in Carroll County, near Cutler, to the late Herbert & Hilda Aiken Jervis. Her 1st marriage was to George Wilson on Feb. 3, 1947, in Mulberry, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 13, 1972. She then married Jesse Widner on Aug. 31, 1973, in Yeoman, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 1998. She was a 1945 graduate of Cutler High School. Bonnie worked for 24 years at the former Gerber-Globe Valve Corp. in Delphi, and they owned and operated the Cutler Café for over 10 years, before retiring. Bonnie was a member of the Radnor United Methodist Church and enjoyed her bible study group very much. She also was a member of the St. Elizbeth Healthcare Center Auxiliary and volunteered at Delphi Canal Park. She loved to crochet and her morning walks with her special group of friends. She enjoyed cooking for her family and her cherry delight was a fam favorite. She always supported her grandchildren in their school functions and many sporting events. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed being with them for any occasion. Surviving: daughter-Julia Terrell of Monticello, stepson-Richard & Karin Widner of New Braunfels, TX, stepdaughter-Kathy & Rebecca Widner of California, grandsons-Brady Terrell of Monticello, & Bryan & Sandra Terrell of Delphi, 5 step grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 18 step great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, & 5 step great great grandchildren survive. Preceded in death by a son-in-law Ron Terrell, 1 sister, & 5 brother's, a stepson, and a step grandson.
Services: Visitation will be Wednesday-April 8, 2026, from 11am until her funeral service at 1pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Rev. Ed Selvidge officiating. Burial at Rossville Cemetery.
