Obituary

Betty A. Landes Huff, 85, of Delphi, died Thursday-Oct 11, 2018 at 10:01pm at St. Elizabeth East Hospital, Lafayette. She was born April 22, 1933 in Adams Township, Carroll County, IN, to the late Ardis & Lola Grace Cree Landes. Her marriage was to Donald E. Huff at the Burnettsville Christian Church, on December 31, 1951, and he survives. She was a 1951 graduate of Burnettsville High School, and did post graduate course work at Ivy Tech.  She was an administrative assistant to CEO Tom Peters of Peters-Revington Furniture Factory, Delphi; a faithful supporter in sharing her husband and family time, with his commitment to development of a community College from 1969; owner and partner with her husband of Pas-Time Books. She was a member of the Burnettsville Christian Church, and a past president of the Carroll County Republican Women. Betty departed this life still grieving with each passing day, the loss of her beloved home, so lovingly and thoughtfully designed and constructed by her husband on her great grandparents farm. Only those who have likewise suffered the ravages of the Indiana Department of Transportation could truly comprehend the endless costs and pain.
