Barry A. Hickman, 58, of Delphi, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday-March 2, 2025, at 2:54pm, at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. He was working and became ill, while driving his semi through the area. Barry was born on April 15, 1966, in Logansport, IN, to the late Harlan & Juanita Coffenberry Hickman. He married Jennifer Luse in Burnettsville, on March 14, 2015, and she survives. Barry graduated from Twin Lakes High School in 1984. He currently was working for B&B Family Trucking of Delphi. He formerly worked at F&K Construction of Flora as a mechanic, and Oscar Winski in Lafayette as well. Barry loved to ride his Harley and enjoyed being outdoors'. He and Jennifer loved to go on cruises and travel. Barry had an infectious sense of humor, loved playing tricks on his friends and family, with a kind heart and unwavering dedication to them. Whether he was cracking a joke, offering a helping hand, or simply spending time with his loved ones, he had a way of making life brighter for those around him. He enjoyed a good meal and more importantly liked to have it with his family. He loved his dogs Cletus, Toby, and his favorite Myrtle. Barry was truly devoted to his wife Jennifer and a proud father to his children. He was the anchor of the family.  He lived for the times they could all be together. Surviving: wife-Jennifer Hickman of Delphi, daughter-Danielle N. Murrilla of Lafayette, son-Kenneth Logan Hickman of Monticello, daughters- Erica Bick & Kristyn Hickman of Monticello, daughter-Karisa Shoemaker of Indianapolis. 6 grandchildren survive. Services: Visitation will be Monday from 4pm to 7pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi.
