Barbara Jean Clawson Dienhart, 71, of Lafayette, passed away Monday-May 30, 2022, at 1:35am at her residence, after a battle with cancer. She had been in declining health since November of 2021. She was born January 20, 1951, in Lafayette, to the late Larue & Geraldine Mueller Clawson. She was a 1969 graduate of East Tipp High School. She worked at several local businesses in Lafayette, in the administrative and bookkeeping departments, and currently for IPI of Minnesota, a company specializing in workman's comp, as an auditor for the past 22 years. She was baptized into the Catholic Faith and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delphi. She loved being outside and taking care of her yard, flower gardens, and always put out a big vegetable garden for her family and friends to share. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the Smokey Mountains and Gatlinburg, a family favorite. She had several dogs and especially loved Cooper, who has been with her for several years. Her family was everything to her, and she dearly loved them all and spending time with them. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed supporting them in their school activities, and whatever sport they were involved with. Surviving: son-Rusty & Erin Perdue of Lafayette, son-Andrew & Danielle Perdue of Myrtle Beach, SC; sisters-Juanita & John Fraczek of Buffalo Grove, IL, Rita Clawson of Beatrice, NE, & Amelia "Amy" Weimer of Lafayette; brother-Eugene "Gene" & Sandy Clawson of Brookston; grandchildren: Bailey Perdue, Gracen Perdue, Scotlynn Perdue, Maideline Perdue, Lincoln Perdue, & Chance Perdue; great grandchildren: Jackson & Able Perdue. Service: A graveside service will be Tuesday-June 14, 2022, at 10:30am, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Delphi, Father Chris Miller officiating.
