Alma E. Leslie Houser, 92, of Delphi, died Monday-July 16, 2018 at 12:23pm, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. She was born March 24, 1926 in Rensselaer, to the late Clarence & Lydia Oberlander Leslie. Her marriage was to Fred W. Houser in Burnettsville, on June 14, 1947, and he preceded her in death on Mar 24, 2008. She attended the former Adams Township School. She was a homemaker, and worked for 8 years at the former Essex Wire in Flora. She was a member of the Rockfield Christian Church. She enjoyed needlepoint, gardening, and her many flower gardens. She loved animals and was an avid reader. She dearly loved her family, and the many gatherings they shared together. Surviving: sons-David & Kathy Houser of Delphi, Don & Rhonda Houser of Lafayette; sister-Norma & Marvin Klingerman of Plymouth; son in law-Tom Ginn of Delphi; 10 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter Pat; a granddaughter; a great grandson; daughter in law Delores; sisters Ruby & Edith; brothers Emmerson & Kenneth.
